Anah Childes, a native of Tyler, Texas, currently residing in Clifton, travels a good distance to talk with us today. Popular at Carmel on her first visit last year, she explains that her Baptist upbringing was probably the most profound philosophical, spiritual influence she could have during her development years. Being enveloped by the Baptist teachings of guilt, her spirit begged for horizons. Then, about four years ago, everything began to come together. Having fled the Baptist upbringing some years ago, Anah was led to what she terms her “spiritual awakening.” Today, she will share with us how ALL THINGS began to make sense to her mind and spirit.
