Vanessa explains: “After my health and my marriage dissolved in 2006, I began a spiritual quest to find healing and restoration. Peace and strength came to me through the Spirit of God. I was able to overcome a four year opiate dependence, prescribed for an auto injury and chronic pain, through prayer, mediation, and classical homeopathy. However, the damage done to my body and mind from years of disease and emotional abuse remained. Faith and the grace of God lead me to greater health through a detoxifying diet, energy healing, soul clearing, and sequential homeopathy. Time is a great teacher and has led me to understand that my life experience and background in research could help me bring a message of hope to those lost in addiction. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to rigorously study substance abuse and the role of spirituality during recovery at University Texas, Austin while completing my Masters in Education.
